Extension of tool life using Takamatsu-style technology with DAW vibration-damping alloy clamp holder.
We conducted high-speed machining of SUS304 using three types of blocks and observed the tool life under the same conditions!
Year by year, the demands for precision and reduced cycle times for products are becoming stronger. However, through innovations in processing methods and enhancements in tools, faster and higher quality processing is being achieved. Nevertheless, as processing conditions trend towards higher speeds, there is a tendency for tool life to decrease, making it difficult to maintain a balance between these factors.
